WWII WPA Weapon Restrictions
The Way It Works
Your weapon will be placed into a weaponÕs class depending on the FPS of your weapon and barrel length. In the higher coded games, you will also be placed according to Hi-Caps or Mid-Caps.
General Restrictions:
No optics of any kind unless a sniper scope for the sniper class. To use a grenade launcher, you must be a Rifleman. Grenade Launchers also must be a projectile launched. No laser, or flashlights of any kind can be mounted on your gun. Booby traps are permitted.
Submachine Gunners:
Under 350fps with a barrel length of no more than 300mm. Full Automatic Allowed. Minimum Engagement Distance: 5 feet.
(Ex. M1A1 Thompson, MP40, MP5, MP7, Skorpion, XM177)
Riflemen:
Under 450fps with a barrel length of anything OVER 300mm. Only Semi Automatic is allowed. Minimum Engagement distance of 10 feet.
(Ex. M1 Garand, Gewehr 43, SVT 40, M14, M4, M16)
Snipers:
Under 550fps with a barrel length of anything over 300mm. Only Bolt Action Rifles are allowed. Minimum Engagement distance of 20 feet.
(Ex. M700, BAR-10, Springfield 1903, KAR-98)
Support:
Under 450fps with a barrel length of anything over 300mm. Full Automatic allowed. Midcaps only. Must be fired from the hip. Iron Sights can only be used when mounted(such as using barrier or person as support). Minimum Engagement Distance 10 feet.
(BAR, STG-44, M4, M16, FAMAS, AUG)
Machine Guns:
Under 450fps with a barrel length of anything over 300mm. Full Automatic only. Box mags only. Must be fired from the hip. Iron Sights can only be used when mounted(such as using barrier or person as support). Minimum Engagement Distance 15 feet.
